This site-specific piece was inspired by the profound Chinese poem

“海上生明月，天涯共此时”

by Jiuling Zhang in the Tang Dynasty

It means, when the moon rises above sea level, everyone, no matter where they are, connects each other by sharing the moonlight of that moment.

I created a “heart” with beating sounds instead of a moon.

Hope everyone sees the heart connects to others and the ones you care about.
